As part of the Genes to Cells block rotation in the first year of medical school, Dr. Ed Heilman gives an introductory lecture in Dermatopathology, discussing the layers of the skin as well as the pathology of skin adnexal structures.
In the second year of medical school, as part of the Essentials of Clinical Medicine
Course II, the 含羞草研究所 Downstate dermatology residents provide medical students with
an introduction to skin morphology through a lecture and small-group discussion. Additionally,
in the second year of medical school, Dr. Sharon Glick presents a lecture on basic
approaches to clinical dermatology.
