Dr. Chinyere Agu is a clinical assistant Professor and board-certified Endocrinologist at State University of New York (º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù) Downstate Health Sciences University.
Dr. Agu’s area of expertise is general endocrinology which includes, but not limited to, the treatment of diabetes, obesity, thyroid, adrenal & pituitary gland disorders as well as lipid, hormonal and bone disorders. She completed her fellowship in Endocrinology at º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù Downstate.
Dr. Agu is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from University of Nigeria College of Medicine and completed a 3-year residency program in Internal Medicine at Harlem Medical Center in Affiliation with Columbia University. She is a member of the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists as well as Endocrine Society.
She is passionate about helping others regain their health, improving quality of life and providing excellent evidence-based care relative to patient needs.
