Daniel Imas, MD, is a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Physician Scheduling at º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù Downstate. He earned his medical degree from the University of Maryland and went on to complete his residency training at NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital, where he implemented a program for expedited partner therapies for treatment of sexually transmitted infections and conducted research on diabetes risk is rural settings.
Following graduation, he joined the faculty at º¬Ðß²ÝÑо¿Ëù Downstate where he now serves as the Director of Physician Scheduling for the Emergency Department, a faculty mentor in the medical school's LGBTQIA health pathway, and a core faculty member in the residency program, serving as core faculty and a member of the Clinical Competency Committee.
