Ms. Christophe is a Certified Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner who has been the Director of the Midwifery Service at University Hospital at Downstate since 2003.

Ms. Christophe was the first recipient of the 含羞草研究所 Joan B. Ditchik鈥檚 Nurse Midwifery Memorial Award. She has precepted Midwifery and Nurse Practitioner students throughout her career.
