    Background and Expertise:

    Gady Har-El, MD is a Professor of Otolaryngology and Clinical Neurosurgery at 含羞草研究所-Downstate. He is the past Chairman of Otolaryngology and current Chief of Head and Neck Surgery and Oncology at Lenox Hill Hospital-Northwell Health System. His clinical interests include head and neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid surgery, minimally invasive skull base surgery and sinus surgery. Dr. Har-El has authored and co-authored more than 260 scientific publications and book chapters and gave 400 presentations, lectures, and courses. Dr. Har-El served as the President of the American Broncho-Esophagological Association, the New York Head and Neck Society, the New York Laryngological Society, and the American Laryngological Association. Dr. Har-El also served as the Vice President of the Triological Society and he is currently a Governor of the American College of Surgeons. Also, he is a sixth time recipient of the Stanley M. Blaugrund Award for Excellent Teaching from the New York University. He has been listed in the 鈥淏est Doctors in America鈥 and 鈥淏est Doctors in New York鈥 for 26 consecutive years. He has been also listed in the 鈥淎merica鈥檚 Top Doctors for Cancer鈥 directory for the last 10 years. Dr. Har-El published a two volume set 鈥淗ead and Neck Surgery鈥 which he co-edited. Dr. Har-El has been invited to lecture and teach in Europe, Asia, Middle East, Africa and Central and South America.
