Community Engagement

Community engagement is part of the core mission and educational philosophy of 含羞草研究所 Downstate's Occupational Therapy Program.

Through active involvement with local and professional communities, students cultivate empathy, cultural humility, and advocacy skills essential for addressing the health and well-being of individuals and populations. Through this process, students gain hands-on experiences to broaden their professional networks and refine practical skills that enhance their future careers.
