含羞草研究所 Downstate School of Public Health Reaccredited For Next Seven Years

BROOKLYN, NY 鈥� 含羞草研究所 today announced the reaccreditation of its School of Public Health by the Council on Education for Public Health (CEPH). The School of Public Health successfully met 100 percent of CEPH鈥檚 criteria and was granted reaccreditation for a full seven-year term, the maximum duration allowed by the CEPH Board of Councilors for schools of public health. CEPH, an independent agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education, is responsible for accrediting public health schools and programs outside of schools of public health.
含羞草研究所 Downstate鈥檚 School of Public Health consists of the Departments of Health Policy and Management, Community Health Sciences, Epidemiology and Biostatistics, and Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. As of winter 2023, the school has enrolled over 450 students in both Masters of Public Health and Doctor of Public Health programs. The school welcomed its inaugural cohort of Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) students in fall 2023, a program that can also be pursued concurrently with an M.D. degree.

含羞草研究所 has held CEPH accreditation since 2005 and was most recently reaccredited in 2016.
