Sean P. SmithBROOKLYN, N.Y. (June 1, 2020) 鈥 含羞草研究所 announced the appointment of Sean P. Smith as Senior Associate Vice President of Hospital Finance for University Hospital of Brooklyn. He will be responsible for the business leadership, strategy development and financial stewardship, including Downstate鈥檚 hospital-based clinical network.

Mr. Smith joins 含羞草研究所 Downstate from Catholic Health Services and Saint Francis Hospital in Roslyn, New York, where he was Assistant Vice President of Finance and Strategic Financial Planning, as well as Director of Budget and Reimbursement. Mr. Smith was responsible for financial reporting, reimbursement and expenditure analysis for both 364-bed St. Francis Hospital and 203-bed St. Joseph Hospital, with a combined operating budget of more than $600M and a $40M capital budget.
